Charles, Prince of Wales

Prince Charles celebrated his 60 anniversary a few days ago. Dmitry Medvedev invited him to Moscow in order to have a really good fun-time with me and Dmitry. Because all Buckingham Palace's parties are utterly boring. Unfortunately, Charles could not come as he had reserved table in a restaurant for all royal family. Yesterday he send a few pictures from this party to Dmitry Medvedev.

Unfortunetly, Dmitry promised to Charles to keep it in the secret but
I am going to post these exclusive pictures today as I can easily access Dmitry's computer (KGB training) and I did not give any promises.

My democratic predecessor

I was criticized that I was not democratic and liberal president as my predecessor Boris Yeltsin. Some people dare claim that there were a freedom and pluralism in Russia during Yeltsin presidential term . I want you to watch some video with Yeltsin and ask yourself do you wish this man would be a president of your country?

Teleconference with ordinary people

I like to hear what ordinary people think about Russian Government and my work especially so I organize teleconference where anybody can call and ask me any question or tell me his opinion about my work.

Translation of the dialog for non Russian-speaking readers:
Reporter: Hello, please introduce yourself
Old Lady: I am not going to speak with you. I will speak only with Putin
Reporter: Vladimir Vladimirovich is listening you. Ask your questions.
I: I am listening you... Hello
Old Lady: Is it you?
I: Yes
Old lady: Is it really you?
I: Right. It's me
Old Lady: Oh my God, thank you very much... Thank you very much for everything what you did... (she hung up the phone)
I: Thank you for your words. Everything what you said is an evaluation of my work. It is also the evaluation of my co-workers' work. But a lot of things still has not been done. I promise that we will do everything in order to realize our goals.

Obama is moving to Washington

The employees at the Russian Embassy in Washington DC couldn't help noticing that Barack Obama was relocating to the White House with all of his entourage. They also took a picture that I post her for your enjoyment. Will it be possible to accommodate all of them at the White House? I wonder.

The Commonwealth of Independent States Convention

Today I was very busy at the Commonwealth of Independent States convention. I approved the economical development strategy for the period to 2020 in Chisinau, the capital of Moldova. Also I had bilateral (tiresome) talk with Ukrainian Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko.

It was quite hard to speak with Yulia as she pretended not to understand Russian language. I asked her to invite the president of Ukraine Viktor Yushchenko next time. As I can easily speak English with him and he will translate from English to Ukrainian for Yulia. All time she mumbled a few words "Maidan" (probably she meant Iron Maiden), "Orange" during our conversation. Finally, thanks for my patience and my linguistic skills some important decision were accepted.

Obama in Holywood

Our intelligent service has informed me that Barack Obama is going to be the main star in a new Hollywood blockbuster with an approximate budged of $320 millions (that's the leftover from his
election campaign). Does John McCain have anything left? If the answer is 'YES' I wonder what kind of a movie he will be in? "How one gets shot down as a pilot and 40 years later - as a candidate in the US Presidential Election"?

USA election

A few facts about last USA election campaign:
The last election campaign was the longest 2 years and 3 months
The candidates spent a record amount of money - 5.3 billions dollars
Voters have provided the highest over the past 100 years election attendance - 65%
The oldest candidate in the history of USA involved in the last campaign -72 years

Some exclusive information: The Russian Embassy in Washington D.C. noticed and made picture as George W. Bush was leaving White House
